The ICEPRO MONILINE rink is a highly versatile multi-purpose dasher board solution for outdoor rinks. It can be turned into a general-purpose sports field, ice skating fields of different shapes and sizes or an ice hockey rink suitable for school use. The frame is made of hot-dip galvanized square-profile steel. The external shell is made of high density polyethene plastic or GRP plywood (according to the customer's wishes and the intended use). The outer shell is attached to the frame with stainless steel rivets. The rink is fitted with support feet that can be anchored or frozen to the ground or weighed using concrete blocks.
The height of the ICEPRO MONILINE multi-purpose rink elements is 1100 mm. Service gates and player doors are made on case-by-case basis and can be positioned freely (taking element joints and spacing into account). The multi-purpose court can be fitted with artificial turf ideal for summer use, and sockets for volleyball and tennis nets can be installed.
The service gate of the ICEPRO MONILINE multi-purpose rink features an adjustable support beam that keeps the gate upright and functional after the ice is made and also in harsh winter conditions. The service gate has adjustable kick plates that are lifted and lowered using the door handles. They make maintenance work easier as the service gate can still be used when the thickness of the ice layer increases.
The mounting brackets and support structures of the ICEPRO MONILINE dasher boards are planned on a case-by-case basis according to user requirements. Support structure options include support feet frozen or anchored to the ground or weighed with concrete blocks.
The standard radius of the ICEPRO MONILINE corner section is 7.65 metres, but it can be reduced down to 1.53 metres. The colours of the plastic side boards can be chosen to fit existing colour schemes. For around-the-year use, however, plain white is recommended.
A storage and handling system that makes it easier to transport and store the elements when dismantled is also available for the ICEPRO MONILINE rink.
The height of the steel mesh shields of the ICEPRO MONILINE rink can be increased using lightweight safety nets in case a nearby building or road needs to be protected.
The structure consists of lightweight metal support beams and textile netting attached to them. The wind load and the weight of the structure are lower than those of a corresponding steel mesh structure. The solution may reduce the total cost considerably as no separate fence structures requiring earth moving and foundation works need to be built.
